Curriculum
Graduated cum laude in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics from the University of Bari in 1996. From 1997 to 1998, he served in the Navy as a dental officer aboard the cruiser Vittorio Veneto and at the Military Hospital of Taranto. In 1999, he completed the annual advanced course in Oral Surgery led by Prof. M. Gabriele at the University of Pisa. That same year, he attended the Implantology course led by Prof. U. Covani and L. Shortline at the University of Pisa. In 2002, he earned the Certificate in Implant Dentistry from the two-year advanced international program at New York University College of Dentistry, directed by D. Tarnow and N. Elian. In 2004, he attended the annual course in periodontology taught by Dr. S. Parma Benfenati, and in 2008, the annual fixed prosthetics course taught by Dr. M. Fradeani. In 2020, he completed the annual advanced periodontology course taught by Prof. G. Zucchelli. Contract Professor for the advanced course in Implantology and Advanced Surgery at G. D'Annunzio University of Chieti from 2003 to 2010. Since 2012, he has been a Clinical Adjunct Instructor at New York University College of Dentistry in the Department of Implantology and Periodontology (Tarnow's Wing). Since 2000, he has been a member of the American Academy of Osseointegration (AO), where he has presented posters and table clinics over time. Active member of the Italian Society of Osseointegration (SIO) since 2016 and active member of the Italian Academy of Osseointegration (IAO) since 2017. Author of publications in international journals and speaker at courses and congresses on implantology and periodontology in Italy and abroad.
Since 2012, he has been the director of the annual program in implant-prosthetics at the Istituto Stomatologico Mediterraneo. Private practitioner in Bari, focusing exclusively on implant-prosthetics, periodontology, and oral surgery.
His expertise encompasses maxillary sinus surgery, gingival recessions, and peri-implant soft tissue management.
