Graduated in Dentistry and Dental Prosthetics from the University of Milan in 1985.

Active member from 1990 to 1994 of G.I.G. (Italian Gnathology Group).

In 1991, participated in a 7-day full-immersion course in Advanced Periodontics at the University of Gothenburg, led by Prof. J. Lindhe and colleagues.

Obtained an annual Master's degree in Advanced Training in Implant Surgery in 2012 at the Galeazzi Orthopedic Institute in Milan, directed by Prof. T. Testori. Obtained an annual Master's degree in Periodontal Techniques in 2013, led by Dr. D. Cardaropoli in Turin.

In his Dental Practice in Busto Arsizio, he mainly focuses on Prosthetics, Implantology, Periodontal Surgery, and Mucogingival Surgery.

Since 2015, he has been a speaker for courses regarding the use of biomaterials, combined or not with Fibrin Glue, in all dental surgical fields.

Author of 2 A.N.T.I.O. lectures on prosthetic topics and several clinical case reports on Implantology and Mucogingival Surgery published on the Osteocom and OsteoBiol websites. Speaker at Osteomeeting 2019 in Naples and 2022 in Ostuni. Author of 5 articles regarding S.P. case reports published in "Il Dentista Moderno".

Author of the Monographic Update "Post-extraction socket preservation" published in Dentista Moderno in April 2022.

Author, together with his daughter Dr. Luana Patarino, of the Monographic Update "Gingival Recessions. Surgical Therapy with the Use of Biomaterials" published in Dentista Moderno in September 2023.
